Salary Range Maximum: USD $30.61/Hr.

Your Role on the Team

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate and perform maintenance of exterior landscapes, including gardening, planting, tree care, and playing-field upkeep.
• Manage erosion control, pest management, and exterior fire-prevention projects.
• Repair and maintain irrigation systems and grounds-maintenance equipment.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required:

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• 1 year of groundskeeping experience.
• Knowledge and skill to operate commonly used grounds equipment and tools in a safe manner.
• Experience in operating trenchers, tractors, rototillers and other commonly used pieces of power-driven grounds equipment.
• Knowledge and ability to install and maintain irrigation equipment.
• Ability to effectively work independently or in teams.
• Ability to follow through and carry out assignments.
• Knowledge of the proper procedures for safely handling and applying toxic materials such as fertilizers and pesticides.

Preferred:

• Experience working outdoors in various environments.
• Possession at time of hire and maintaining a valid California Class C driver's license and a safe driving record.
