The Temporary International Student Advisor (ISA) for International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is a position that will report to the Senior Advisor for International Students and Scholars in ISSS. The International Student Advisor is being hired to support the ISSS team in key areas of processing. The ISA will also be responsible for advising students in basic immigration regulations and maintenance of their student status.
CORE CAPABILITIES, PRIMARY DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as Designated School Official (DSO).
- Process assigned requests from students using SEVIS, Sunapsis & Banner systems.
- Collaborate with the ISSS team to meet processing goals.
- Utilize Sunapsis, New School email, and virtual meetings to communicate with international students' requirements.
