Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Recruitment
- Lead targeted recruitment efforts within Spanish-speaking communities inside and outside of Massachusetts through virtual outreach, and in partnership with the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management, develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan to increase enrollments in out-of-state markets.
- Plan and facilitate evening and weekend virtual information sessions.
- Represent Urban College of Boston at virtual and in-person outreach events and partner meetings.
- Support lead generation, follow-up, and conversion efforts in collaboration with Admissions and Marketing.
Admissions Support
- Serve as an initial virtual point of contact for prospective students.
- Support applicants remotely through document collection, application completion, and onboarding.
- Track outreach and recruitment activity in the College’s CRM system.
Academic & Partnership Collaboration
- Work with academic department chairs and AVP of enrollment to support articulation and pathway agreements with colleges and high schools.
- Assist in documenting outreach activity, partner engagement, and referral processes.
General Duties
- Participate in virtual and in-person admissions and enrollment meetings.
- Support grant-funded recruitment initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, advising, or outreach
- Fluency in Spanish and English (required)
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Cultural competency and comfort working fully remotely
- Proficiency with CRM systems and office technology
- Strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently as a self-starter, manage competing priorities, meet enrollment and outreach goals in a fully remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with articulation agreements or transfer pathways
- Experience recruiting adult learners or workforce populations
- Familiarity with grant-funded or community-based education programs
Working Conditions
- This is a part-time (20 hours per week) position.
- Both hybrid (Wednesdays and Thursdays on campus in Boston) and primarily remote employment models will be considered for this role. This employment model is subject to periodic review by the President.
