Duties include:
- Making crosses in the field
- Selfing cotton flowers in the field
- Harvesting, ginning and acid delinting cotton samples
- Seed preparation for storage
- Planting and helping to grow plants in the greenhouse and fields
- Perform day-to-day activities of greenhouse care and maintenance
- Assist post docs, grad students and research specialist while collecting phenotypic data and tissue samples from the greenhouses and cotton fields
- Perform lab based analyses including DNA isolation

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education: BS in Plant Sciences, Agriculture, Biology or related field; Background in plant care, with experience in general biology and/or agricultural
Required License or Certification: Valid driver’s license
