A Temporary Researcher position is available in the Aaron Whiteley research group in the Department of Biochemistry at University of Colorado Boulder.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
The person in this position will investigate the bacterial immune system and delineate how bacteria defend themselves from viruses. Specifically, the research will focus on the DUF2204 defense system, requiring a robust skill set in molecular genetics, cloning, protein purification, phage propagation, and agar overlay assays.
What You Should Know
Anticipated start date early July 2026. This is a temporary position not expected to last beyond August 31, 2026.
What We Can Offer
The hourly rate for this part-time position is $21.

What We Would Like You to Have
A Ph.D. in biochemistry is preferred for this position.
