Temporary Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator

Job Details

POSITION SUMMARY The Counseling Center is seeking Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator for a 9-month, full-time position to fill an unexpected vacancy for the 2025–2026 academic year. This role will provide leadership and support for an established cohort of graduate-level trainees and contribute to the delivery of direct clinical services to a diverse student population.

The Training Coordinator oversees all aspects of the training program—including recruitment, selection, supervision, and evaluation—supporting three advanced doctoral psychology practicum students and one advanced master’s-level counseling intern. The role also includes providing individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, academic support, and consultation to students, faculty, staff, and families.

We are seeking a collaborative and culturally responsive psychologist with substantial experience in clinical supervision and training. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging, as well as strong leadership in program coordination and clinical care.

This is a temporary 9-month position. The successful candidate may be eligible to apply for a permanent role, which will be posted mid-year.

The Student Counseling Center has made a commitment to prioritize belonging and connection both among our staff and with colleagues across campus. We strive to maintain an interpersonally healthy, supportive, and positive environment, we value training and growth, and we're looking for a colleague who will thrive in this setting.

Position is available to start on or after August 25, 2025. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and will be accepted until the position is filled.
