Brief Summary of Work for this Position:
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage Faculty Senate surveys in Qualtrics, including survey
development, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring,
reminders, and closure.
Develop and maintain complex survey workflows, including
branching/display logic, embedded data, piped text, and multi-stage
surveys where responses from one survey determine the population or
content of subsequent surveys.
Prepare and manage survey populations by combining data from
multiple university sources, applying inclusion/exclusion criteria,
and identifying and resolving duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate
records.
Perform data cleaning and quality control to ensure faculty
populations, survey distributions, and response data are accurate
and consistent.
Test and troubleshoot survey logic and data workflows before
and after deployment, including verifying that participants receive
the appropriate surveys and questions based on their
characteristics or prior responses.
Manage survey distributions and response monitoring, including
contact lists, invitations, reminders, response rates, and
follow-up communications.
Export, clean, organize, and maintain survey data for reporting
and analysis.
Document survey processes and workflows, including data
sources, population criteria, survey logic, and recurring
procedures to ensure consistency and continuity.
Collaborate with Faculty Senate leadership and university
stakeholders to translate survey requirements, ensure population
accuracy, and maintain a consistent survey schedule.
Provide technical support for the surveys post-deployment by
responding to technical requests from recipients and generating new
survey links when needed.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working with Qualtrics and data systems
a requirement
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Qualtrics,
particularly Survey Flow, branching logic, embedded data, contact
lists, distributions, and survey testing.
- Strong Excel and data-cleaning skills, including filtering,
sorting, lookups, duplicate identification, and working with large
datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve
data discrepancies independently.
- Ability to work with data from multiple sources and apply
defined criteria to create accurate populations.
