electrical and computer engineering will be considered for tenure-track positions only, unless explicitly stated otherwise, especially as they align with the strategic focus of the department in: (i) Core/foundational AI; (ii) computer systems (tenured faculty candidates will also be considered for this area); and (iii) robotics and physical AI. Qualifications Applicants should have received or expect to receive a doctoral degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline prior to August 2027. Successful candidates are expected to mentor graduate students, teach our undergraduate and graduate students, develop an externally sponsored research program, collaborate with other faculty in a wide range of fields, and be involved in service to the university and profession.
