"Tenure-track Assistant Professor in German"

Candidate must be a generalist dedicated to undergraduate teaching and be able to teach all levels of language as well as upper-level literature, language, and culture. The Candidate should be a dedicated program builder with the skill set and the interest to lead a successful study-abroad summer program in Germany. Teaching load is 3-3, with a seventh course every third year. Responsibilities include scholarly activity and providing service to the department, the College, and the community. Willingness to assist with German Conversation Table and advise the German Club is expected. Completion of the PhD is required by July 1, 2026.
