Description

The Department of Mathematics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for two positions at the level of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, with appointments beginning in Fall 2025. All areas of mathematics will be considered. Applicants must present evidence of excellent accomplishments and promise in both research and teaching. Exceptional applicants may be considered for an appointment at a higher rank.

Qualifications

Qualified individuals are invited to submit the AMS cover sheet, a cover letter, a research statement, a teaching statement, all available course evaluations, and a CV. Ph.D. must be awarded no later than August 1, 2025. Applicants should arrange for at least four letters of recommendation, at least one of which should address teaching. Applicants may discuss equity, diversity, and inclusion in their research and teaching statements, as applicable. The review of applications will begin October 15, 2024 and will continue until the positions are filled.
