"Tenure Track Faculty, Analytics and AI"

Position Summary

The Department of Management and Operations at the Villanova School of Business is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Analytics and AI. This faculty member will teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in Analytics and Artificial Intelligence as well as other related areas, as appropriate. The faculty member is expected to publish high quality research in top operations and analytics journals. This person will report to the Chair of the Management and Operations Department and will begin in Fall 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach Analytics/AI courses in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Competitive teaching loads are offered based on research output.
• Publish high quality research in any area of Operations and Analytics primarily targeting top peer-reviewed academic journals listed on the Villanova School of Business journal list.
• Perform service commensurate with faculty rank.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. with teaching experience
• Potential to publish in high quality journals
• Willingness to work in a collegial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Operations Research, Analytics, AI, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated track record of high-quality teaching
• Evidence of high-quality scholarly research
• Evidence of applying AI and/or Analytics to real-world problems
• Ability to work with other faculty and contribute to a collegial environment
