Job Summary
The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) is hiring two tenure-track professors at the Assistant Professor rank. We will consider candidates in all areas of electrical and computer engineering. Potential research areas of interest include communications, power, sensing, controls, robotics, signals, computing hardware, and theory for quantum technologies. We are particularly interested in candidates who bridge disciplines, have synergistic interests with existing faculty, or bring unique capabilities.

Who We Are

The ECEE Department includes 3 University Distinguished Professors, 8 endowed chairs, 40 tenure/tenure-track faculty, 8 teaching faculty, and 4 research faculty. Faculty honors include 16 IEEE Fellows, 4 members of the US National Academy of Engineering, a National Science Foundation (NSF) Presidential Faculty Fellow, and 22 NSF CAREER Award recipients. The ECEE program consists of about 650 undergraduate and 450 graduate students and has averaged over $16 million in annual research expenditures. The department maintains close ties with local industry and national institutes/labs such as NIST, NLR, and NOAA.
