The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is the state's public health, law, and human services university, dedicated to excellence in education, research, clinical care, and public service. The University of Maryland Carey School of Law is the fourth oldest law school in the nation, and our innovative programs make us one of the liveliest and most dynamic today. Maryland Carey Law strives to develop outstanding professionals educated in the law. Qualifications
We seek candidates who demonstrate strong potential for outstanding teaching and original scholarship, as well as a genuine interest in becoming active members of our community. Candidates must hold a J.D. from an American Bar Association-approved law school or an equivalent degree and be eligible to obtain a U.S. bar license before beginning employment.

Hiring salary range: $135,000 – 185,000, with the specific salary corresponding to their appointed rank (Assistant through Full Professor) and determined by the candidate's qualifications.
