The S. M. Wu School of Intelligent Engineering invites applications for tenure-track or tenured positions at all levels (Assistant, Associate, and Full) in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electronic and Information Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Intelligent Engineering. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electronic and Information Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Intelligent Engineering, or a closely related field. The S. M. Wu School of Intelligent Engineering particularly seek candidates in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information System Engineering, Robotics and Automation, Intelligent Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing. The candidates are expected to establish vigorous research programs and contribute to undergraduate and graduate education. Salaries are highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The S. M. Wu School of Intelligent Engineering is one of the first three schools in the international campus in South China University of Technology. Facing towards the change of Chinese manufacturing industry, the school would seize the development opportunities of Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macau Bay that provides a joint platform for cutting-edge science and engineering research, carry out basic frontier science and technology research around emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent healthcare, intelligent cities, intelligent devices, etc.
