Tenure-Track Position in Bioinformatics
Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine is one of the world’s leading French-language medical faculties. The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine offers a dynamic environment for research and teaching. The CHU Sainte-Justine is the largest mother-child health center in Canada.
Day-to-day responsibilities: You will teach at all levels in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, supervise students and postdoctoral fellows, develop a research program in bioinformatics, secure funding, build collaborations, contribute to academic life, and promote the discipline through conferences and publications.
Qualifications: Hold a PhD; demonstrate experience in bioinformatics; expertise in methodologies including omics, AI, and diagnostic tools; apply to maternal and child health topics; ability to teach and supervise; ambition to collaborate; proficiency in French or commitment to learn.
