Title Tenure-Track Professor in Biodiversity, Conservation, or Land Surface Processes SchoolFaculty of Arts and SciencesDepartment/ Area The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, The Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, and The Department Human Evolutionary Biology Position Description The Departments of Earth and Planetary Science, Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, and Human Evolutionary Biology seek to appoint a tenure-track professor who conducts foundational research in the broadly defined areas of biodiversity, conservation, and/or land surface processes using remote sensing, AI and other advanced techniques. Candidates in allied disciplines, or who are engaged in cross-disciplinary research, are encouraged. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2027. We seek an outstanding individual who will establish an innovative research program and teach both undergraduate and graduate students.
