"Tenured and Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in Neuroscience"

The Department of Neuroscience and Cell Biology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), the Rutgers Child Health Institute (CHI), and the Rutgers Brain Health Institute (BHI) seek applications for tenured or tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor positions. We are seeking scientists with expertise in neurodevelopment, neurodegeneration, and the role of neurons and glia in the healthy and diseased brain using molecular, cellular, or circuit approaches.

Rutgers is located near New York, Philadelphia, and the New Jersey shore. The region offers access to universities, research facilities, and cultural activities. The medical school features collaborative research programs and core facilities including genomics, proteomics, and neuroimaging.

Research focuses on the molecular, cellular, and circuit bases of neurodevelopment and neurodegeneration. The Brain Health Institute provides collaborative opportunities in neurodevelopment, neurodegeneration, and other areas. The Child Health Institute studies topics in neuroscience and immunology.

Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent, postdoctoral experience, a record of research achievement, and a commitment to teaching. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience.
