Term Faculty (Non-Tenure Track) - Real Estate (25-26)
The Department of Finance and Real Estate in the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois invites applications for a one-year faculty position in Real Estate to begin in Fall of 2025.
Located in the heart of Chicago's financial and business community, DePaul University's real estate program is a recognized leader in professional real estate education in the Midwest. The programs emphasize applied learning in areas such as:
- Real estate finance and investment
- Real estate development and project management
- Market analysis and valuation
- Legal and regulatory issues
- Multifamily housing policy and finance
- Structuring real estate transactions
The program offers three degrees: an undergraduate degree in real estate, an MBA concentration in real estate finance and investment, and an MS degree in real estate (MSRE).
The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in real estate and engage with faculty colleagues and contribute to the department's academic environment.
Qualifications:
- A Master's or a Ph.D. in real estate, finance, or economics by the time of appointment
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate or graduate level (or both), if available
