Responsibilities
- Enter employee payroll transactions, including tax withholding updates and voluntary retirement deductions, into payroll systems.
- Review payroll forms and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with established procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Assist with routine payroll processing and administrative support activities.
- Monitor assigned workflows and ensure transactions are completed within established deadlines.
- Communicate with Payroll staff regarding missing information, discrepancies, or documentation needs.
- Perform data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Participate in training to learn payroll procedures, systems, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet recurring deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
