Primary Purpose

Minimum Qualifications

Masters or Master of Fine Arts in drama/theater arts/performance OR Bachelors or Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama/theater arts/performance AND Masters in comparative literature, English, communication studies, speech, literature or humanities OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area; OR the equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications

Demonstrated success in helping arts students from historically underrepresented and/or marginalized groups, nontraditional students, speakers of other languages, and students with learning disabilities.
