Overview
Through the Theology - Christian Apologetics (Online) programme from Liberty University, you will engage in an in-depth, postgraduate study of the Bible while integrating essential theological and apologetics studies that will enhance your scholarship and ministry leadership. If you want to build on your Master of Divinity or equivalent seminary education, but do not want to pursue a doctorate yet, our online Th.M. degree in Christian Apologetics will provide the tools you need to engage in the current cultural discussion with critical studies in apologetics.
Students in Liberty’s 100% online Th.M. degree will work at the post-graduate level while immersed in advanced studies of biblical theology, Christian apologetics, church history, global studies, homiletics, or theology. General Requirements:
- Transcripts must show a Master of Divinity (or M.Div. equivalent — see M.Div. Equivalency Policy below) with a minimum 3.0 GPA for admission in good standing. Please note: Students that confer a master’s degree with Liberty University and apply for the Th.M. must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in order to gain admissions. Students with an LU graduate GPA below 3.0 will be denied admission.

- Applicants whose native language is other than English must submit official scores for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or an approved alternative assessment.
