Overview
About the programme
The main direction of Theoretical Physics research in our division is investigation of different issues of Quantum Field Theory and String Theory. The main goal of this research at Uppsala University is to improve our understanding of how different quantum field theories and string theory works.
In the future this should help us to solve many fundamental problems in the description of nature, such as quantum theory of gravity and physics of strongly coupled and strongly correlated systems.
