Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge in the area of ticket sales
- Demonstrated effective communication and computer skills
- Skill in customer service
- Ability to establish rapport with internal and external constituent
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree with additional consideration to applicants who possess a Masters degree.
- Prior experience with Paciolan or other Ticketing Software
Job Description:
Texas State University is seeking applications for the position of Ticket Office Coordinator for the Texas State Athletic Department, under the direction of the Associate AD for Ticket Sales and Operations. This position is full time and benefits eligible, with the potential for the Department to provide housing support.
Job Duties:
- Solicit and renew current season ticket holders and manage annual season ticket drives.
- Collaborate with the Athletic Ticket Office call center to drive ticket sales.
- Manage group sales orders and fulfill related requests.
- Oversee on-site ticket operations for athletic events.
- Coordinate and manage social media efforts and individual game ticket promotions in partnership with the Marketing Department.
- Prepare and maintain ticket sales reports.
- Represent the university at athletic contests, campus, and community events to promote goodwill and the Department of Athletics.
- Ensure compliance with NCAA, Conference, State of Texas, university, and departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Operations.
