Position Summary: This position will provide general maintenance and set-up of a multi-purpose athletic and entertainment facility managed by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Duties will include the set-up and general maintenance of Hayward Field in the staging of athletic events, presentations and other events. The person in this position will assist trades employees with their work by doing such tasks as basic carpentry and plumbing. This position will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to unload shipments and to move items around the facility. This position will require the physical ability to walk, lift up to 75 pounds and lift 50 pounds overhead. This person will stoop, bend, twist, and perform repetitious movements throughout a large facility.

Minimum Requirements: One year of general building maintenance experience in one or more of the following trade areas: carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, and welding.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing maintenance in a public facing facility. Experience in athletic facility setting.
