Training Facilitator and Operations Assistant
Position Purpose
The Training Facilitator and Operations Assistant supports the Sexual Violence Prevention Project (SVPP), a presidential initiative delivering a four-year undergraduate curriculum to prevent sexual violence, by facilitating student trainings and supporting daily project functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, social justice education, cultural foundations of education, health education, higher education, counseling, or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years of experience in facilitating programs related to sexual violence, violence prevention, health promotion, wellness, public health, behavior change, or a closely related field
- High degree of flexibility, including the ability to work some evenings and 2-3 Sundays per 10-week term
- Proficiency in topic areas of relationship violence, stalking, sexual harassment, and sexual assault
- Excellent public speaking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience facilitating interactive, skill-based workshops
- Demonstrated proficiency with using a range of digital tools and platforms
Key Accountabilities
Facilitates a high volume of programming for a diverse undergraduate population (50%). Plans, manages, coordinates, and seeks to improve administrative office functions (25%). Assists with project initiatives as part of the SVPP team (25%).
