Job Summary

The Transfer Credit and Veterans Affairs Coordinator serves as a key member of the Enrollment Services team, providing comprehensive support for student registration processes, transcript evaluations, credit articulation, and administration of veterans' educational benefits. The position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student registration records, assisting students throughout the enrollment lifecycle, and serving as the institution's primary certifying official for U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) educational benefit programs.

The Transfer Credit and VA Coordinator delivers exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, military-connected students, veterans, active-duty service members, and eligible dependents while ensuring compliance with institutional policies, state regulations, federal regulations, and VA requirements.

Minimum hourly rate: $20.29/hour

Responsibilities

Manages the transfer credit evaluation and articulation process - 60%
  • Develops a workflow to review transfer credits in a timely manner.
  • Preserves record of signed articulation agreements between Dalton State and other institutions.
