This position is part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA).
The successful candidate will be offered a contingent tenured or tenure-track appointment in the Department of Medicine, with the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, which is in accordance with the Academic Faculty Agreement, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Remuneration for this position is based on the Academic Medicine & Health Services Program (AMHSP). Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
Location
This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.

Responsibilities
Key accountabilities... clinical practice of transplant Infectious Diseases (minimum 30% effort), teaching... and the development of an internationally recognized research program (at least 40% of their time to research)...
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be an MD (or equivalent) with certification in Infectious Diseases with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent), be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and have additional training in clinical transplant infectious diseases. Additional training in clinical or bench research with MSc of PhD or record of research productivity is also required.
