Duties/Responsibilities:

• Instruction and tutoring in areas of high school math, science, computer science, English and study skills test prep. (60% of time)
• Evaluate students progress and provide weekly updates which include progress reports and final grades. (30% of time)
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and all trainings. (10% of time)

Position Summary: TRIO UB/UBMS Summer Instructors to instruct high schools students during six-week summer component. Provide instruction and tutoring in areas of high school math (i.e. algebra, geometry, calculus), science (i.e. chemistry, physics, biology, physical science), and Computer Science/Technology, English and study skills/test prep for 9th – 12th grade high school students.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Educational designated subject area or closely related field and experience in teaching or classroom demonstration preferred.
