Offer Description
The role of "liveable proximity" beyond the 15-minute city: assessment and design of proximity-oriented neighborhoods in urban and peri-urban contexts. Candidates must submit a project proposal addressing the following elements: The project must tackle mobility and territorial cohesion issues by integrating large-scale transport planning with urban and rural proximity strategies. The proposal will be based on the convergence of the concept of cross-border "living areas" and the "liveable proximity" paradigm, both aimed at ensuring access to essential services within the communities' daily spatiotemporal routines. The initiative must aim to identify and overcome barriers limiting universal accessibility, distinguishing between objective obstacles—such as regulatory, infrastructural, and informational issues—and subjective obstacles related to the perception and ability to use transport services.
