Offer Description
The Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Business Engineering and Management from National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (NUSTPB), Romania, is looking for a candidate for the position of university assistant at the Department of Economic Engineering.
NUSTPB is the largest technical university in Romania. The Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Business Engineering and Management is one of the main faculties within NUSTPB.
Economic Engineering Department is coordinating one license programs and two master programs in the filed of Engineering and Management. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting seminars, designing and preparing teaching materials for the subjects Risk Management in Industry, Risk Assessment Techniques in Industrial Organizations, Fundamentals of Product Manufacturing, and Production Management. The candidate will also carry out personal research projects and develop project proposals to attract funding for the department.
Description of tasks:
- Conducting seminars, laboratory sessions, and project activities, and supervising students' research activities including final-year undergraduate projects;
- Designing, preparing, and developing seminars, laboratory sessions, projects, and teaching materials;
- Conducting scientific activity, including research, disseminating the results of works in the form of publications in scientific journals, with particular emphasis on high-rated publications;
- Participating in scientific conferences;
- Participating in the implementation of research projects;
- Applying for research projects (national and international) financed by external institutions;
- Organizational activities for the department and faculty;
Other tasks resulting from the profile and nature of the unit.

Skills/Qualifications
- holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and is enrolled as a PhD student in the field of Engineering
- has knowledge of product manufacturing processes and production management,
- has a very good command of the Romanian language,
- has knowledge of the English language at a level of at least B2, demonstrated by a recognized language certificate or equivalent evidence,
- has documented scientific achievements presented at scientific sessions or published in journals.

Decision of the Competition Committee on the ranking of candidates, the nomination of the candidate who obtained the highest overall results, and the recommendation for appointment to the position: to be displayed at the premises of the Department where the competition was held by 14 October 2026.
Approval by the Faculty Council of the Competition Committee’s Report: by 20 October 2026.
Approval by the University Senate of the Competition Committee’s Report on the outcome of the competition: by 22 October 2026.
