Your personal sphere of play:

To expand our team within the interdisciplinary "AAAging" study, we are looking for a committed PostDoc with research experience in aging-related health research.

Your responsibilities include the overall scientific coordination of the study and the preparation of scientific publications. You will also share your knowledge with Master’s and PhD students.

You will actively contribute your expertise to the acquisition of third-party funding and independently advance the "AAAging" project.

The independent teaching of courses in accordance with the collective agreement, as well as active participation in research, teaching and administration, and the development of your own research profile is expected.

Your future tasks:

  • You take on the overall scientific coordination of the AAAging study (planning, monitoring, quality assurance)
  • You supervise PhD candidates and students
  • You publish in international journals and give scientific presentations
  • You apply for third-party funded projects and acquire research funding
  • You independently teach courses in accordance with the collective agreement
  • You assume administrative responsibilities in research and teaching

This is part of your personality:

  • Completed doctoral/PhD degree in Nutritional Sciences, Sports Medicine, Public Health or a related field
  • Experience in project leadership or study coordination, or at least active involvement in human studies during your doctoral studies
  • Advanced knowledge in statistics and scientific publishing
  • Experience with methods such as BIA, spiroergometry, and dietary assessments
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong team player with excellent social and communication skills
  • Resilience and high level of motivation
