Your personal sphere of influence:

As a university assistant prae doc, you will complete the research team around Prof. Magdalena Pöschl and you will take over tasks like active participation in teaching as well as in research and publication projects. The focus of our research is on Public Law.

Your future tasks:

You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:

• You are involved in research projects and scientific studies.
• We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.
• You work on your dissertation and its completion.
• You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
• You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.
• You will assist with the exams.
• You are involved in supervising students.

This is part of your personality:

• Completed Master's degree or Diploma, in the field of Law
• Basic experience in academic writing and with research methods (e.g. seminars)
• Didactic competences / experience with e-learning beneficial
• IT user skills: MS Office
• You work independently.
• Excellent command of written and spoken German (C1 Level) / good command of English
• You should be a team player with high social/communicative skills

Duration of contract:The contract duration for employment is 4 years. Initially limited to 1,5 years, the employment is automatically extended to 4 years if the employer does not hand in a declaration of non-renewal within the first 12 months.
