About the role

The appointee will join the Secretariat of the Lancet Countdown, an international and multi-disciplinary research collaboration based out of University College London’s Institute for Global Health and contribute to the contributions of IDAlert towards the Europe Lancet Countdown.

The postholder will work with the Head of Policy to contribute to engagement with technical officers across key stakeholder organizations and with policy officers within our partner universities.

About you

It is essential that the successful candidate has Masters’ level degree in political sciences, international relations, public health, sustainable development or a related subject, or equivalent experience.

They will also have proven experience in policy engagement, advocacy or public affairs at a regional, national, or sub-national level, ideally within European policy contexts along with technical knowledge of European diplomacy and policy processes, and policy engagement techniques within European settings.
