Lymphoedema is a painful, permanent swelling caused by disruption to lymphatic system drainage, affecting over 5,000 New Zealanders annually. Current methods for clinically assessing lymphoedema are typically based on measurement of single physical properties, limiting the clinical information that can be inferred.
