Title of the project: “Quantum circuit models for many-body physics” - This research is part of the QUANTHEM project, which aims to explore the potential of quantum computers in the field of many-body physics. The research activity is organized into three main lines. The first line of research focuses on the study of circuit models of many-body systems, including quantum cellular automata, and the development of techniques for their analysis. The second line focuses on the investigation of…
many-body phenomena in these systems, including new phase transitions. The third line explores the possibility of using protocols that employ quantum circuits to prepare states of interest for the quantum simulation of many-body physics.
