As a Teaching and Learning Officer within the Academic Support Office, you'll be instrumental in supporting the School of Historical and Philosophical Studies. You'll collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality educational support, manage key administrative functions, and contribute to the continual improvement of academic services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Relationship Management: Foster effective communication and collaborative relationships with faculty academic support staff and academic teams.
- Planning, Coordination, and Support: Provide high-level administrative support for undergraduate, honours, and coursework programmes, including timetabling and examination processes.
- Committee and Event Support: Assist with committee functions, Open Day, Welcome and induction programmes, and contribute to faculty publications and websites.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct ongoing reviews of processes to ensure best practices and continuous improvement in academic support services.

You may also:
- Have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

- Show sensitivity, discretion, and confidentiality in interactions with students and staff.

Located in the Faculty of Arts, the Academic Support Office (ASO) supports the development, delivery and quality assurance of teaching and learning activities. The ASO manages essential functions in the following key areas: selection, scholarships, undergraduate, graduate coursework and graduate research programs, student enrichment and eTeaching and eResearch.
