The Department of Medicine Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Miami Health System and University of Miami Leonard Miller School of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine on the Clinical Educator Track.

Summary of job responsibilities:
Provide direct outpatient and inpatient care to adult patients with endocrine diseases.
Supervise and precept trainees in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Participate in education and training of medical students, residents and fellows.
Qualifications include:
MD/DO Degree
Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency
Completion of an ACGME accredited Endocrinology fellowship program.
Board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology (or board eligible)
Valid, unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
Valid DEA Licensure
Current ACLS and BLS certification required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirement
Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care
