The Australian Research Centre for Cancer Survivorship (ARCCS) at UNSW Sydney is a world-first cancer survivorship research centre established through a landmark $40 million partnership with Cancer Council NSW. ARCCS is dedicated to understanding and improving long-term outcomes and quality of life for people living with and beyond cancer, tackling the physical, emotional, social and financial challenges survivors may face. The Centre brings together researchers, clinicians, survivors, carers and communities to co-design evidence-based solutions that inform practice, policy and health systems, ensuring tailored, person-centred care that helps people not just survive, but thrive. ARCCS also prioritises addressing inequities in care and strengthening survivorship support across Australia and globally.
