Job Summary
The Department of Biology at The University of Texas in Tyler is seeking a nontenure-track Lecturer for the Spring 2026 semester only.

Key Responsibilities

• The candidate would teach nonmajors courses in Microbiology and coordinate the non-majors Microbiology labs for the Department.
• The candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and mentoring.
• Participation in departmental, college, and university committees and advising is expected.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated record of teaching excellence

Required Qualifications

• M.S. or PhD in Biology is required.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is highly desirable.
