Description

The Department of Medical Imaging, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, and the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI) at University Health Network, Sinai Health, and Women's College Hospital invite applications for a full-time faculty clinical position as Radiologist in the Breast Imaging Division.

The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. The anticipated start date is April 1, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Operate across all modalities in Breast Imaging, including:
  • Mammography
  • Digital breast tomosynthesis
  • Breast ultrasound
  • Contrast Enhanced Mammography
  • MR imaging
  • Image-guided biopsies
• Participate in educational activities at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and fellowship levels at the University of Toronto, with emphasis on inter-professional and interdisciplinary teaching.
• Engage in research activity in the field of Breast Imaging and actively participate in academic endeavors.

Qualifications:

• MD degree or equivalent
• Certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent
• Eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Formal fellowship training in Breast Imaging
• Academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience

Compensation:

• In accordance with the uniform average salary of a Radiologist in Ontario ($300,000 – $450,000)
• Additional compensation details for out-of-hours work will be discussed individually
