Position Details
Position Title: User Support Analyst
Position Purpose: To serve as a consultant and trouble-shooter to members of the Dartmouth Medical School community on a broad range of largely conventional, personal computer-related applications and technologies for which relevant guidelines are generally available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Four years of relevant experience in a personal computer environment
Key Accountabilities
Consultant and Trouble-Shooter (60%)
- Broad knowledge of personal computers (Windows and Apple), mainstream software, mobile devices, peripherals
- General knowledge of TCP/IP networking and ability to configure TCP/IP settings
Communication (40%)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize priorities, work independently, lead workshops, teach groups, and interact professionally with end-users
