About the Role

As a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging, high-quality training that prepares students for the demands of modern industry. You’ll design and deliver learning across certificate II and Certificate III in Carpentry using contemporary teaching practices and technologies.
Working within a collaborative team, you will:
- Plan, deliver and assess training aligned to current Training Packages
- Adapt programs to meet diverse learner and industry needs
- Foster an inclusive, supportive and safe learning environment
- Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of training delivery
- Contribute to the development of innovative teaching and assessment materials
About You
You’re an experienced and motivated professional who thrives on sharing knowledge and supporting others to succeed. You bring:
- Carpentry qualifications and significant industry experience
- Proven ability to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across varied learning modes
- A strong commitment to student experience, mentoring and inclusive education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Confidence using digital tools and learning management systems
- A proactive approach to your own professional development
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116
Qualified Carpenter with significant experience
