Act as a circulating Nurse to support the surgeons by positioning and aseptically prepping the patients, open sterilized equipment and instruments, operate specialized surgical equipment, properly clean and maintain the surgery suites before, during, and after procedures. Instruct the senior veterinary and technician students in gowning and gloving, proper hand scrubbing and basic Operating Room etiquette, as well as orienting them for emergency duty. Cleaning and Stocking duties.

• Perform cleaning and stocking duties.
• Check expiration dates on supplies.
• Assign surgeries to appropriate rooms.
• Log surgeries into surgery log.
• Occasional on call shifts are required.

• Capturing and entering all surgical charges with accuracy.
• Emergency on call duty on a rotating basis.
• Assist anesthesia in pre-op in preparation of patients.
