The University is now seeking to appoint a new Vice Chancellor who will be responsible for shaping the institution’s strategic vision and delivering its long-term priorities. Reporting to the governing board and the ministry of education, the Vice Chancellor will provide leadership across all aspects of academic, research, financial and operational performance, championing excellence and inspiring staff and students.

As the University’s Chief Executive Officer, the postholder will represent UR nationally and internationally, strengthen its reputation and partnerships, engage closely with government and policy leaders, and help to secure the resources needed to advance the University’s mission. The Vice Chancellor will also lead the University’s senior decision-making structures, including the Academic Senate and the Senior Management Committee.
