Responsibilities

• Serve as the University’s chief academic officer, providing leadership for all academic programs and faculty.
• Advance academic quality, student success, and access for a diverse, student-centered population.
• Support and collaborate with academic department chairs and faculty through shared governance.
• Lead curriculum development, assessment, academic policy, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Align academic priorities with institutional goals, enrollment strategy, and long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

• Earned terminal degree from an accredited institution.
• Senior academic leadership experience in higher education (e.g., VPAA, associate provost, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence, access, and student success.
• Strong experience working with faculty governance and academic administration.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to lead through influence and partnership.
