Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

We are seeking an experienced Video and Multimedia Producer to join our dynamic team in the e-learning education sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, producing, filming and editing video and multimedia resources that enhance teaching, learning, and research. In addition, the Video and Multimedia Producer will provide vital support, guidance, and training to academic and general staff in using multimedia production technologies and techniques to deliver effective educational content.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, creativity, and a passion for education, along with a proactive approach and a collaborative mindset to contribute to the continued success of our multimedia initiatives.

Mōu | Who You Are

You will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in video & multimedia production, particularly within the education or e-learning sector, and have:

  • strong working knowledge of video editing software, production camera work, and sound operation.
  • prior experience in an educational environment is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • proficient in video and audio production, post-production, and content distribution.
  • highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams.
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • a genuine understanding of educational practices and a willingness to ensure that these guide production values
  • expertise in professional video and sound equipment operation is desired.
  • experience with multimedia content publication and distribution across various platforms is desired.
