Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor - Applied Psychology
About the Opportunity
The Department of Applied Psychology in the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University invites applications for a 52 week, 0.6 FTE Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Online and Hybrid programs. This is a one-year position. The programs are based on the Boston (on-line) and Charlotte (hybrid) campuses. Candidates must be able to teach in-person portions of courses on the Charlotte, NC campus. We seek candidates who will contribute to the teaching in Northeastern University's graduate ABA programs as well as support students through thesis-equivalent projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Teach graduate and undergraduate behavior analysis courses in both online and hybrid formats, and in-person portions of hybrid courses on the Charlotte, NC campus.
- Chair student thesis equivalent projects
Qualifications include:
- Doctoral degree with a focus in applied behavior analysis
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Strong documented history of training and clinical supervision of students in behavior analysis
- Demonstrated effectiveness in online and in-person teaching
- Acquire and maintain relevant state licensure for practice
