The Department of Psychology at the State University of New York at Oneonta invites applications for a PRODiG+ Fellowship beginning Spring 2027. The fellowship is for a 12-month appointment for two years. The fellowship is expected to transition into a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Clinical, Counseling, or Applied (clinical focus) Psychology after two years, provided the fellow achieves performance milestones during this period. This position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Psychology.
The Department of Psychology at the State University of New York at Oneonta is a thriving department of ten full-time faculty members with diverse research interests that create an engaging learning environment characterized by accessible faculty, teamwork, student research opportunities, and technology-supported classrooms. The department is committed to providing a solid knowledge base in psychology, fostering scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills, promoting competence in written and oral communication, and supporting ethical and social responsibility in a diverse world. We value experience working with diverse populations, inclusive teaching pedagogies, and multicultural teaching experiences that support students' overall professional development.

- Teach a reduce course load (two courses in fall and spring, totaling 12 credit hours for the academic year) in clinical psychology and develop courses in area of specialization.
