Job Description Summary
Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor to teach multiple sections of BUS 101: Foundations of Business. Appointment begins August 2025. Multiple positions may be available.
Job Description
BUS 101: Foundations of Business, the course is part of the required First-Year Integrated Core (FYIC) curriculum for all Farmer School of Business majors. The FYIC is a four-course block that teaches students critical skills such as critical, creative, computational, and ethical thinking as well as coding, communication, and collaboration.
As a FYIC teacher, you will be a part of a faculty who work together as a team to integrate these key skills across all four FYIC classes (BUS 101: Foundations of Business; BUS 102: Foundations of Business Communication; ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Thinking; and BUS 104: Introduction to Computational Thinking for Business). Minimum Qualifications
Required: Ph.D. for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor in business, communication, or closely related field by date of appointment; Master’s degree for appointment as Instructor in business, communication, or closely related field by date of appointment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with teaching or work experience related to general business.
