Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach multiple sections of ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking. Appointment begins Fall Semester 2026.
Job Description
ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking is part of the required First-Year Integrated Core (FYIC) curriculum for all Farmer School of Business majors. The FYIC is a four-course block that teaches students critical skills such as critical, creative, computational, and ethical thinking as well as coding, communication, and collaboration.
As a FYIC teacher, you will be a part of a faculty who work together as a team to integrate these key skills across all four FYIC classes (BUS 101: Foundations of Business; BUS 102: Foundations of Business Communication; ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Thinking; and BUS 104: Introduction to Computational Thinking for Business).
Minimum Qualifications
Required: Ph.D. in business, creative studies, or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; Master’s degree in business, creative studies, or closely related fields by date of appointment for appointment as Instructor.
Consideration may be given to candidates with teaching or work experience related to entrepreneurship.
